Ambassadors John Maisto, Jim Rosapepe, and Aldona Wos

In this special episode, podcast host Ambassador Jim Rosapepe sits down with Ambassadors Aldona Wos and John Maisto on the heels of CAA's latest overseas fact-finding mission to Estonia, Lithuania and Poland. The ambassadors talk about their meetings with officials in Estonia and Lithuania and topics like Russian threats in the Baltics, cyber-security, the role of NATO, and the desire for an American presence in the Baltics.


 

Ambassador Maisto served as U.S. Ambassador to the Organization of American States from 2003 to 2007, Venezuela from 1997 to 2000, and Nicaragua from 1993 to 1996. He served as Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and Senior Director for Western Hemisphere Affairs for National Security Advisor Dr. Condoleezza Rice.

Ambassador Aldona Z. Wos

Ambassador Wos served as U.S. Ambassador to Estonia from 2004 to 2006. For her service, she was awarded the Order of the Cross of Terra Mariana 1st Class, the Distinguished Service Cross of the Estonian Defense Forces, and the Cross of Merit of the Estonian National Police Board.

Ambassador Rosapepe served as the U.S. Ambassador to Romania from 1998 to 2001 and is a member of the CAA Board of Directors. He currently is Chairman and CEO of Patuxent Capital Group LLC and serves in the Maryland State Senate.
