Former Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women's Issues at the UN, Kelley Currie, joined American Ambassadors Live! Podcast host Ambassador Louise Oliver to discuss working with the UN and the challenges of multilateralism.

 

Ambassador Kelley Currie served as U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues and the U.S. Representative at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. Ambassador Currie has specialized in human rights, political reform, development and humanitarian issues, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region.


Ambassador Louise Oliver served as Permanent Representative of the United States to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Ambassador Oliver is an expert in the fields of education, philanthropy, public policy, and organization management, and has led national organizations in these and related fields.
